Cross

Cross was founded in 1846 in Providence, Rhode Island by Richard Cross.

Initially, the company produced gold and silver pen cases, continuing the tradition of the family's jewelers
Over the years, the company has developed several new writing tools including the precursor of the mechanical pencil and the first fountain pens.

Cross has been the official supplier to the White House since the 1970s. Pens used to sign legislation are often used as souvenirs for those who signed the records.
